This generous villa of around 200 m² offers ample space for up to 8 guests and sits directly on the water and bordering a beautiful forest. You will find peace and great privacy here, with lively Frisian towns such as Joure, Sneek and Lemmer just a few kilometres away.
Direct access to the forest makes this stay extra special: a morning walk through the greenery, an afternoon on the water and a quiet evening in the garden. There is plenty for children nearby: within walking distance you'll find a swimming lake, playground, bouncy castle and petting zoo. Sint Nyk golf course is less than five minutes by car.

Inside, the villa offers an atmospheric living room with comfortable seating, smart TV and a generous dining table. The modern open kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, combination microwave, oven, Nespresso and filter coffee machine.

On the first floor are four generous double bedrooms with boxspring beds, together providing eight comfortable beds. The villa has two luxurious bathrooms, one with a bathtub. There is also a separate toilet on the first floor and on the ground floor. The utility room has a washer, dryer and ironing equipment. A cot is available.

Outdoor living
Outside, enjoy a spacious garden of around 1,500 m² with a sunny terrace, several seating areas and an atmospheric fire pit. From the french doors you step straight onto the private jetty, ideal if you bring your own sloop. The park also has a slipway.
No boat of your own but eager to sail during your stay? We are happy to think along and can arrange a sloop at the jetty on request, or organise a private boat trip with your own skipper.

The broad covered veranda with outdoor fireplace is the beating heart of Het Eyland 2. Here you breakfast with views over the garden, read a book by the crackling fire and end long summer evenings with a glass of wine under the stars.
